Twitter owned Periscope announced Wednesday via tweet that users can now save their live videos forever. Currently Periscope produced videos disappear after 24 hours. It’s not automatic, a user has to add #save in the video title.

This is good news for those producing professionally polished video such as marketers promoting their business and it’s also in the interest of Periscope. Temporary videos discouraged businesses from taking the time and spending the money necessary to produce the best quality videos and Periscope benefits because it’s video platform will become more utilized by business which have the resources to promote their videos and therefore Periscope.
